Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using services provided by Automata Software LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), including Signal Claude and related applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
Description of Service
Signal Claude is a service that enables you to interact with AI assistants via the Signal messaging platform. The service processes your messages and generates AI-powered responses using Anthropic's Claude technology.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service.
Account Registration
To use our services, you must create an account using Google OAuth and verify your Signal phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Subscription and Payments
We offer various subscription tiers with different features and usage limits. Free tier users receive a limited number of messages per month. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change pricing for your subscription, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new pricing takes effect.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Generate content that violates Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the service
- Use the service for automated or bulk messaging without authorization
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
AI-Generated Content
Responses generated by our AI service are provided for informational purposes only. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material. You should not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you use information provided by the service.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated responses.
Intellectual Property
The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Automata Software LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the service, but you grant us a license to process and store that content as necessary to provide the service.
Third-Party Services
Our service integrates with third-party services including Signal, Google, Anthropic, and Stripe. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Automata Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the six months prior to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Automata Software LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service or your violation of these terms.
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
